Business, Management, and Marketing Pathway
Students in the Business, Management, and Marketing pathways will learn skills to start their own business or work in the fields of marketing, business, finance, entrepreneurship, sports and entertainment, travel and tourism, accounting, e-commerce, or any other business related field. Students have the opportunity to come up with their own idea for starting a business and discuss the feasibility of making it work. They will look at the idea from start to finish including, production, distribution, marketing, retail, e-commerce, app development, profitability, etc. Students will complete a capstone project that will encompass all the skills learned throughout the four years of the academy. Internships with different companies will be made available to interested students. Upon completion of courses in these pathways, students will be prepared to possibly start their own business and/or pursue an advanced degree in a related field. Students can earn college credits and credit for working. They can also compete in Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
