Location: Pueblo West is a suburb of Pueblo, Colorado, population of approximately 35,000. Facilities: Pueblo West is a comprehensive high school first occupied in August 1997 and includes facilities for all spectator sports, indoor and outdoor.
Technology: Each student receives a laptop computer. We provide wireless Internet.
Enrollment: There are approximately 1420 students enrolled in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12.
Accreditation: The school is accredited by the Colorado Department of Education.
Schedule Information: Semester – Two 18-week grading periods Length of class periods: 55 minutes 4x per week
Grading System: A = 4.0; A = 5.0 (for weighted courses)
Rank in Class: Rank in class is computed using all grades in all subjects. Honors, AP, and IB courses are weighted with one extra value point.
