Mr. Smith is the health/cert teacher.
He has been teaching a variety of different subjects including Band, Choir, Guitar, Geography, Life Skills, Health, and English since 1993.
his experience as for teaching the SERT program comes from 6 years as an EMS and working on the Volunteer fire department. He recently joined the Pueblo search and rescue team.
The first 9 weeks of school he teaches 5 hours of health, the second 9 weeks is SERT training.
He was recently awarded the Colorado Cares Volunteer Service Award from the governor.
